Blue Jays Rally Late to Edge Red Sox in Thriller

The Toronto Blue Jays pulled off a dramatic comeback, scoring six runs in the ninth inning to stun the Boston Red Sox 8-7 in Fort Myers, Florida.

Josh Kasevich delivered the game-winning two-run single, capping a wild rally that saw Devonte Brown (two-run single), Dasan Brown (bases-loaded walk), and Cutter Coffey (RBI single) help Toronto storm ahead.

Boston nearly forced extra innings after Max Ferguson’s two-run single, but Paxton Schultz secured the final out to seal the victory for Toronto.

Ryan Jennings (1-0) earned the win, while Boston’s Zachary Fogell (0-1) took the loss after giving up all six ninth-inning runs.


Tigers Shut Out Yankees Behind Dingler’s Blast

The Detroit Tigers dominated the New York Yankees in a 4-0 shutout in Tampa, Florida.

Dillon Dingler crushed a two-run homer, while Andy Ibáñez and Austin Murr added RBI doubles to fuel the Tigers’ offense.

On the mound, Casey Mize was sharp, scattering two hits over two scoreless innings with three strikeouts. Tyler Owens (1-0) pitched a clean third inning to pick up the win.

The Baltimore Orioles took down the Philadelphia Phillies 7-3 in Clearwater, Florida, thanks to a strong offensive showing.

Coby Mayo drove in two runs, Vimael Machin launched a solo homer, and Jordyn Adams added a pair of RBIs to help Baltimore cruise to victory.

Cade Povich (1-0) started strong for the Orioles, throwing two hitless innings, while Kyle Brnovich struck out four over the final two frames.

The Pittsburgh Pirates broke open a tight game in the seventh inning, scoring four straight runs to defeat the Minnesota Twins 5-1 in Bradenton, Florida.

Konnor Griffin, Abrahan Gutierrez, Termarr Johnson, and Bryce Johnson all delivered RBI singles in the seventh to secure the win.

Starter Mitch Keller made his spring debut, allowing three hits over two scoreless innings. Tim Mayza (1-0) pitched a perfect seventh to earn the win.

For Minnesota, DaShawn Keirsey Jr. provided the lone run, while Travis Adams (0-1) was tagged for multiple runs in the seventh.


Nationals Dominate Mets with Early Five-Run Inning

The Washington Nationals exploded for five first-inning runs and never looked back in an 11-6 win over a New York Mets split squad in Palm Beach, Florida.

Andrew Pinckney added a two-run triple in the fifth, while Robert Hassell III went 2-for-3 with two runs scored.

On the mound, Shinnosuke Ogasawara (1-0) debuted with a scoreless inning.

For the Mets, Simon Juan provided a three-run homer in the ninth, but starter Ty Adcock (0-1) struggled, allowing five runs in just 2/3 of an inning.


Marlins and Mets End in a 1-1 Tie

The Miami Marlins and New York Mets battled to a 1-1 tie in Port St. Lucie, Florida.

Ryan Ignoffo knocked in Ronny Simon with an RBI single in the eighth to even the score.

The Mets’ only run came via a fourth-inning balk, bringing home Brett Baty, who finished with a game-high two hits.

Miami ace Sandy Alcantara, making his first appearance since Tommy John surgery, hit 99 mph on the radar gun in a one-inning outing.

Rays Beat Braves Behind Caminero’s Homer

The Tampa Bay Rays leaned on a solo home run from Junior Caminero and a 3-for-3 performance from Curtis Mead to secure a 4-2 win over the Atlanta Braves in North Port, Florida.

Kameron Misner, Josh Lowe, and Ben Rortvedt also chipped in RBIs for Tampa Bay.

Starter Joe Rock (1-0) pitched two innings, allowing just one hit with a strikeout.

Atlanta avoided a shutout thanks to Sandy León’s eighth-inning homer and Conner Capel’s RBI double in the ninth. Starter Ian Anderson (0-1) allowed a run on three walks and a hit in 1 2/3 innings.


Astros Explode in Sixth Inning to Crush Cardinals

A massive seven-run sixth inning powered the Houston Astros to an 11-6 victory over the St. Louis Cardinals in Jupiter, Florida.

Thomas Sacco led the charge with a two-run homer and a two-run single in the same inning, while Patrick Sullivan added a solo shot.

Reliever AJ Blubaugh (1-0) got the win despite giving up three earned runs in two innings.

For the Cardinals, JJ Wetherholt hit a three-run homer, briefly putting St. Louis ahead 5-4 before Houston’s offensive explosion. Ryan Yeager added a ninth-inning homer, but reliever Sem Robberse struggled, allowing nine runs (seven earned) on nine hits in just 2/3 of an inning.
