Braves Shut Out Phillies, 7-0

Five Atlanta pitchers combined to limit the Philadelphia Phillies to four hits as the Braves rolled to a 7-0 victory in North Port, Fla.

Marcell Ozuna delivered the big blow with a two-run homer, his third of the spring, while Chadwick Tromp drove in three runs. Michael Harris II went 2-for-3 with an RBI and a run as Atlanta piled up 11 hits.

Raisel Iglesias (1-0) earned the win with a perfect fourth inning. Zach Thompson pitched the final five frames to notch his first save. Phillies starter Nabil Crismatt (1-1) allowed one run over three innings and took the loss.

Blue Jays Top Rays, 4-1

New addition Anthony Santander went 2-for-4 with three RBIs as Toronto defeated Tampa Bay in Dunedin, Fla.

Santander hit an RBI single in the first and a two-run double in the fifth. Bowden Francis (1-1) earned the win for the Blue Jays, allowing one run over 5 1/3 innings with four strikeouts.

Taj Bradley (0-1) took the loss for the Rays, yielding four runs (three earned) on nine hits. Jonathan Aranda accounted for Tampa Bay’s only run with a solo homer.

Astros Blank Marlins, 11-0

Eight pitchers combined for a five-hit shutout as Houston routed Miami in Jupiter, Fla.

Zach Dezenzo went 3-for-4 with an RBI double, Jake Meyers hit a two-run homer, and Zack Short added a two-run blast and another RBI double. Josh Hader (1-0) earned the win in relief.

Janson Junk (0-1) took the loss for Miami, giving up one run over 3 2/3 innings. The Marlins totaled just five hits, including doubles by Griffin Conine and Jack Winkler.
