Joe Berra Rules the Board
  • Top dog: Joe Berra went 3-0, all Monday Night Football picks, and cashed out $325 to lead all of our handicappers yesterday. Joe hit the Seahawks -2.5, the Under, and D.K. Metcalf to score an Anytime TD. Nailed it!
  • Super Mario: This is a name you should recognize. He’s been in this position before. That’s why he’s up $1416 over the past 30 days. Yesterday, he went 2-0 hitting the total on the MNF game while also hitting on a soccer pick. His winnings totaled $202.
  • Not Vince: No, not Vince Lombardi, but Sal. He went 2-0 last night and won $200. Both picks were on the Monday night football game. Sal’s specialty, of course, is MLB. You will probably want to check him out this MLB postseason.
  • Over and again: SWJ Sports is making this a habit. Two NFL picks. Two wins. Another $200 to the good. Scott has had himself a week. Over the last 7 days, SWJ Sports is up $1160. Scott has been hitting tons of props bets. Maybe he’ll have some MLB postseason props. You won’t know unless you join Sports Hub…shameless plug there.

It’s Playoff Time!

Yes, it’s MLB postseason time and that’s among the trending sports today. Seattle took care of the New York Giants 24-3 in last night’s Monday night football action. We have some Giants and Seahawks among today’s trends. More MLB, college football…it’s just a great time in the sports year!

Here’s what is trending.

  • Jamal Adams: The Seahawks star safety finally got back in the lineup last night. He was playing for the first time since tearing a quadriceps tendon in last year’s season opener. He lasted nine plays before taking a knee to the helmet and being ruled out for the rest of the game due to concussion.
  • Danny Dimes: Giants QB Daniel Jones dropped a few dimes last night – 27-of-34 for 203 yards and 0 TDs. He did, however, complete two passes to the Seattle Seahawks and one of those was returned 97 yards for a touchdown by Seattle rookie Devon Witherspoon.  Danny Dimes might become Danny Pick-Six real soon.
  • MLB postseason: It all starts today. The 2023 World Series champion will be crowned in about a month. Who will it be? Get all your MLB content and picks right here at Sports Hub.
  • You’re fired: The LA Angels went 73-89 with two generational players (Shohei Ohtani, Mike Trout). What the Angels don’t have is any solid pitching talent. And, in true MLB postseason fashion, when you can’t win because you have no pitching, you fire the manager. Phil Nevin won’t return in 2024.
  • Crowded at the top: The latest college football AP Top-25 still has Georgia at No. 1, but just barely. The Bulldogs went from 55 first-place votes in Week 5 to 35 in Week 6. They hold onto the top spot with No. 2 Michigan right behind. However, the Wolverines were almost overtaken by No. 3 Texas. Michigan got 12 first-place votes and wound up with 1,436 points. Texas received 10 first-place votes and had 1,426 points. The Longhorns play Oklahoma in the Red River Rivalry this Saturday.
