Otega Oweh scored 17 points for Kentucky (7-1), which struggled from beyond the arc, hitting just 7-of-27 attempts. Lamont Butler added 16 points but was hampered by foul trouble in the Wildcats’ first loss of the season.

No. 3 Tennessee 96, Syracuse 70

Chaz Lanier erupted for 26 points as Tennessee (8-0) cruised past Syracuse in Knoxville, maintaining its undefeated record.

Zakai Zeigler chipped in 14 points, eight assists, and four steals for the Volunteers, who shot 53.8 percent overall and 61.3 percent in the second half. Tennessee also outrebounded the Orange 40-26.

Elijah Moore led Syracuse (4-3) with 24 points, while Chris Bell added 12. The Orange were without leading scorer JJ Starling due to a hand injury suffered in practice.

Vladislav Goldin delivered a career-high 24 points, including three clutch baskets in the final minutes, to lead Michigan to a comeback win over Wisconsin in Madison.

Danny Wolf added 20 points for Michigan (7-1, 1-0 Big Ten), which erased a three-point deficit with under three minutes to play. The Wolverines have now won six straight games.

Max Klesmit scored 18 points for Wisconsin (8-1, 0-1), which suffered its first loss of the season despite entering the game averaging 85.3 points.


Villanova 68, No. 14 Cincinnati 60

Eric Dixon sank two late 3-pointers en route to a game-high 31 points as Villanova upset Cincinnati in Philadelphia.

Dixon notched his third 30-point performance of the season, while Wooga Poplar added 12 points and 10 rebounds for Villanova (5-4), which earned back-to-back victories for the first time this season.

Jizzle James scored 19 points for Cincinnati (6-1), which suffered its first defeat of the season.


No. 21 Oklahoma 76, Georgia Tech 61

Jeremiah Fears posted 18 points and Jalon Moore recorded a double-double with 15 points and 11 rebounds as Oklahoma defeated Georgia Tech in Norman, Okla.

Kobe Elvis added 12 points, including four 3-pointers, as the Sooners (8-0) connected on 10-of-28 shots from beyond the arc.

Jaeden Mustaf led Georgia Tech (4-4) with 16 points, while Duncan Powell added 11 points and 12 rebounds. The Yellow Jackets struggled without injured starters Javian McCollum and Kowacie Reeves Jr.

Wade Taylor IV scored 15 points as Texas A&M (7-2) clamped down on Wake Forest (7-3) in a defensive battle in College Station.

Henry Coleman III and Pharrell Payne each added 10 points for the Aggies, who used a decisive 11-2 run late in the second half to secure the victory. Andersson Garcia hauled in a season-high 16 rebounds.

Hunter Sallis paced Wake Forest with 19 points, while Davin Cosby Jr. chipped in 10. The Demon Deacons were held to just 44 points, their lowest output of the season.

No. 23 Ole Miss 86, Louisville 63

Dre Davis scored 18 points against his former team to lead Ole Miss (7-1) to a convincing win over Louisville in the SEC/ACC Challenge.

Sean Pedulla added 16 points and a season-high seven assists for the Rebels, who shot 56.7 percent from the field.

Chucky Hepburn led Louisville (5-3) with 19 points. The Cardinals announced this week that Kasean Pryor and Koren Johnson will miss the rest of the season due to injuries.
