West Virginia 86, No. 3 Gonzaga 78 (OT)
Javon Small’s 31-point effort powered West Virginia past Gonzaga in overtime during the opening round of the Battle 4 Atlantis. Amani Hansberry added a career-high 19 points for the Mountaineers (4-1), who advanced to the semifinals to face Louisville.
Braden Huff led Gonzaga (5-1) with 19 points, but the Bulldogs failed to capitalize in regulation and settled for the consolation bracket.

Johni Broome led Auburn to the Maui Invitational championship with 21 points, 16 rebounds, six assists, and four blocks in a decisive win over Memphis. Dylan Cardwell added a career-high 18 points for Auburn (7-0), which shot 56.7% from the floor.
PJ Haggerty paced Memphis (6-1) with 27 points and nine rebounds in the Tigers’ first loss of the season.
No. 5 Iowa State 99, Colorado 71
Milan Momcilovic’s career-high 24 points, including 18 in the first half, propelled Iowa State to a dominant win over Colorado in the fifth-place game of the Maui Invitational. Curtis Jones and Keshon Gilbert added 19 and 15 points, respectively, for the Cyclones (5-1).
Julian Hammond III led Colorado (5-2) with 20 points but couldn’t repeat their upset over UConn from the previous round.

Chaz Lanier’s 18 points led Tennessee (7-0) to a rout over UT Martin. Felix Okpara posted a double-double with 10 points and 11 rebounds, while Igor Milicic Jr. grabbed 13 rebounds.
Josu Grullon led UT Martin (2-5) with 15 points but saw his team shoot just 6-for-28 in the second half.

Mark Sears scored 24 points to lead Alabama (6-1) past Rutgers in the Players Era Festival. Grant Nelson contributed 17 points and nine rebounds for the Crimson Tide, who advanced to face Oregon in the championship game.
Freshman Dylan Harper tallied a career-high 37 points for Rutgers (5-2), keeping his team within striking distance.

Louisville (4-1) will advance to face West Virginia in the semifinals.

Cincinnati (6-0) secured a comfortable win behind Simas Lukosius’ 16 points and Jizzle James’ 13-point, eight-rebound performance. The Bearcats built a 27-point lead before coasting to victory.
Amarr Knox led Alabama State (3-4) with a game-high 24 points but struggled in the second half.
No. 17 Baylor 91, New Orleans 60
Jayden Nunn’s 23-point night, including seven 3-pointers, powered Baylor (5-2) to a commanding win over New Orleans. Norchad Omier added a double-double with 12 points and 13 rebounds.
