Indiana Shocks No. 13 Purdue With Huge Second-Half Comeback

The Indiana Hoosiers delivered a statement win on Sunday, rallying from a 12-point halftime deficit to dominate No. 13 Purdue 73-58 in Bloomington, Indiana.

Malik Reneau and Trey Galloway led a balanced attack with 15 points each, while Myles Rice and Oumar Ballo chipped in 12 apiece off the bench. Luke Goode added 11 points as Indiana outscored Purdue 48-21 in the second half.

The Hoosiers (16-11, 7-9 Big Ten) shot 64% from the field after halftime and forced 11 turnovers, turning them into 19 points. With the win, Indiana keeps its NCAA Tournament hopes alive.

For Purdue (19-9, 11-6 Big Ten), Fletcher Loyer led all scorers with 20 points, while Myles Colvin added 11 off the bench. However, the Boilermakers struggled in the second half, shooting just 30% from the field and extending their losing streak to four games.

No. 10 St. John’s Sweeps UConn for First Time Since 2000

St. John’s continued its dominance over UConn, taking control late in the first half and pulling away for an 89-75 win in New York.

Kadary Richmond and Zuby Ejiofor each scored 18 points, leading a balanced Red Storm attack that saw five players in double figures. RJ Luis Jr. (14 points), Aaron Scott (13), and Deivon Smith (12) helped seal the victory as St. John’s (24-4, 15-2 Big East) shot nearly 47% from the field and hit 8 of 19 three-pointers.

The win completed St. John’s first season sweep of UConn since 1999-2000 and solidified their position as one of the top teams in the Big East.

Alex Karaban led UConn (18-9, 10-6) with 17 points, while Tarris Reed Jr. and Solo Ball added 15 apiece. Liam McNeeley chipped in 14, but shot just 2-of-13 as the Huskies committed 18 turnovers and struggled to keep pace.


No. 22 Memphis Cruises Past FAU Behind Dainja, Haggerty

Dain Dainja and PJ Haggerty each dropped 22 points as No. 22 Memphis rolled past Florida Atlantic 84-65 at home.

Dainja, who also grabbed 11 rebounds, tied his career high in scoring, while Colby Rogers (15 points) and Moussa Cisse (11 rebounds) helped the Tigers (22-5, 12-2 AAC) maintain their lead atop the American Athletic Conference.

For FAU (15-12, 8-6 AAC), Tre Carroll led the way with 20 points and 7 rebounds, while Kaleb Glenn (15 points) and Leland Walker (14 points, 4-of-6 from three-point range) tried to keep the Owls in the game.

Memphis outplayed FAU on both ends, dominating the glass and forcing turnovers to take full control in the second half.
