Missouri Stuns No. 1 Kansas in “Border War” Rivalry
Tamar Bates scored a season-high 29 points to lead Missouri to a 76-67 upset over top-ranked Kansas in Columbia, Mo. Mark Mitchell added 17 points, and Anthony Robinson II contributed 11, each recording five steals as Missouri (8-1) forced 22 turnovers to claim their first win over Kansas since 2012.
Josh Gray had seven points and 10 rebounds for the Tigers, who saw their 24-point lead dwindle to two before regaining control late. Missouri’s eight wins already match their total from last season.
Hunter Dickinson recorded 19 points and 14 rebounds for Kansas (7-2), while David Coit, Dajuan Harris Jr., and KJ Adams Jr. also scored in double figures.

No. 2 Auburn Cruises Past Richmond, 98-54
Miles Kelly and Tahaad Pettiford scored 15 points each as Auburn (8-1) never trailed, rolling over Richmond. The Tigers had six players in double figures and rebounded after a loss to No. 9 Duke earlier in the week.
Richmond (4-5), now 0-27 all-time against top-five opponents, was led by Mikkel Tyne with 16 points but shot just 27.1% overall.
No. 6 Iowa State Dominates Jackson State
Curtis Jones scored 19 points off the bench, including five 3-pointers, to propel Iowa State (7-1) to a 100-58 blowout of winless Jackson State. Milan Momcilovic added 18 points for the Cyclones.
Dorian McMillian led Jackson State (0-10) with 20 points, but the Tigers had no answer for Iowa State’s shooting.
No. 8 Purdue Holds Off Maryland in Big Ten Action
Braden Smith scored 24 points and dished out 10 assists to help Purdue (8-2, 1-1) fend off Maryland 83-78. Smith sank five 3-pointers, including four in the second half, as the Boilermakers rebounded from a loss to Penn State.
Derik Queen tallied 26 points and 12 rebounds for Maryland (8-2, 1-1), which had its five-game win streak snapped.
No. 9 Duke Rallies to Beat Louisville
Freshman Cooper Flagg posted 20 points and 12 rebounds, helping Duke (7-2, 1-0 ACC) overcome a 14-point first-half deficit to defeat Louisville 76-65. Tyrese Proctor added 13 points for the Blue Devils.
Terrence Edwards Jr. led Louisville (5-4, 0-1) with 21 points, but the short-handed Cardinals couldn’t hold off Duke after their hot start.
UCLA Edges No. 12 Oregon on Last-Second Shot
Dylan Andrews banked in a 3-pointer with 0.4 seconds left to give UCLA (8-1, 2-0) a thrilling 73-71 victory over Oregon in Eugene, Ore. The Bruins extended their winning streak to seven games and remained unbeaten in conference play.
Nate Bittle led Oregon (9-1, 1-1) with 22 points and 10 rebounds, but UCLA’s balanced scoring proved decisive.
No. 14 Cincinnati Pulls Away from Howard
Simas Lukosius scored 18 points, and Aziz Bandaogo added 17 as Cincinnati (7-1) used a second-half surge to beat Howard 84-67. Dillon Mitchell chipped in 14 points for the Bearcats, who shot 76.9% in the second half.
Freshman Blake Harper recorded his first double-double with 23 points and 10 rebounds for Howard (3-6), but the Bison lost their fourth straight game.
Arkansas State Shocks No. 16 Memphis
Joseph Pinion scored 22 points to lead Arkansas State to an 85-72 upset of Memphis. Dyondre Dominguez added 19 points for the Red Wolves (7-3), who shot 12-of-36 from beyond the arc.
PJ Haggerty tallied 29 points for Memphis (7-2), but the Tigers trailed for nearly the entire game.
No. 22 Texas A&M Survives Texas Tech in Tight Battle
Wade Taylor IV scored 19 points, including eight in the final minutes, to lead Texas A&M (8-2) to a 72-67 victory over Texas Tech. Jace Carter added 16 points for the Aggies, who used a late 11-0 run to secure the win.
Chance McMillian scored 23 points for Texas Tech (7-2), which saw its three-game winning streak snapped.

No. 25 UConn Downs Texas Behind Karaban’s Big Night
Alex Karaban returned from injury to post 21 points and 11 rebounds as UConn (7-3) defeated Texas 76-65. Solo Ball added 16 points, while Liam McNeeley contributed seven points and nine rebounds for the Huskies.
Freshman Tre Johnson led Texas (7-2) with 24 points, including 18 in the second half. Arthur Kaluma added 20 points, but the Longhorns’ winning streak ended at seven games.
