Duke’s final possession ended when Flagg dribbled out of bounds, and Kentucky made three more free throws to clinch the win.
Andrew Carr led the Wildcats (3-0) with 17 points, while Oweh added 15 points, and Amari Williams contributed 10 points and eight rebounds. Kentucky finished the game on an 8-2 run, erasing an earlier 10-point deficit from the first half.
Flagg paced Duke (2-1) with 26 points and 12 rebounds, while Knueppel chipped in 14 points, and Tyrese Proctor scored 12 points. Despite leading earlier, the Blue Devils couldn’t close out in the final minutes, dropping their first game of the season.

Jayden Nunn scored 19 points, hitting five 3-pointers, as No. 12 Baylor cruised past Sam Houston with a 104-67 win. Norchad Omier added a double-double with 18 points and 10 rebounds, and VJ Edgecomb contributed 13 points, 10 rebounds, and seven assists for Baylor (2-1). The Bears used their size to control the paint, outscoring the Bearkats 52-24 inside.
