Minnesota Upsets No. 24 Illinois

Max Brosmer led Minnesota to a 25-17 upset over Illinois, throwing a game-winning touchdown pass to Jameson Geers in the fourth quarter. Darius Taylor added 131 rushing yards for the Golden Gophers, who became bowl eligible with the win.

Illinois’ Luke Altmyer threw for 226 yards, but back-to-back losses have hurt their momentum.
