Chaz Lanier (18) and Jordan Gainey (15) led the Volunteers, who saw a four-game head-to-head streak over the Rebels snapped. Dre Davis and Malik Dia scored 13 each for Ole Miss, and Matthew Murrell added 12 as the Rebels (21-9, 10-7 SEC) won their second straight after a three-game skid.

No. 5 Florida 99, No. 7 Alabama 94

Alex Condon went off for a career-high 27 points and grabbed 10 rebounds as Florida (26-4, 13-4 SEC) outlasted Alabama in Tuscaloosa. Walter Clayton Jr. contributed 22 points and eight assists, helping the Gators to their 11th win in 13 games. The Crimson Tide (23-7, 12-5) got 30 points from Mark Sears in his final home contest, but it wasn’t enough as they fell for the fourth time in six outings.

Rodney Rice netted 19 points, and Derik Queen added 17 points with 12 rebounds to steer the Terrapins (23-7, 13-6 Big Ten) past the Wolverines in Ann Arbor. Selton Miguel joined Queen with 17 as Maryland improved to 5-4 in Big Ten road games. Vladislav Goldin (20 points, 15 boards) and Danny Wolf (20, 8 rebounds) led Michigan (22-8, 14-5), losers of two straight at home.

Terrence Edwards Jr. fired in a game-high 35 points (7-for-11 from 3-point range), pacing the Cardinals (24-6, 17-2 ACC) to an eighth consecutive win. Chucky Hepburn and J’Vonne Hadley added 16 points apiece. Jovan Blacksher Jr. produced 22 for the Golden Bears (13-17, 6-13), who shot 29.6 percent from the field.

Jeremiah Fears’ career-high 31 points – including a 12-for-12 showing at the foul line – led the Sooners (18-12, 5-12 SEC) past the Tigers. Sam Godwin left early with a knee issue after scoring 12 first-half points, but Mohamed Wague (12) and Jalon Moore (11) boosted Oklahoma’s upset. Mark Mitchell topped Missouri (21-9, 10-7) with 18; Caleb Grill (16) and Marques Warrick (10) also scored in double digits.

UConn 72, No. 20 Marquette 66

Alex Karaban poured in 21 points for the Huskies (21-9, 13-6 Big East) as they triumphed in Storrs. Samson Johnson had 10 points and 11 rebounds among five double-figure scorers for UConn, which took over third place in the conference. David Joplin’s 23 led the Golden Eagles (22-8, 13-6), while Kam Jones scored 21. Marquette’s three-game road skid cost them a share of second in the league.
