Nic Anderson to Enter Transfer Portal

Oklahoma wide receiver Nic Anderson plans to enter the transfer portal when it officially opens on Monday. The 6-foot-4 Texas native had a standout 2023 season, recording 38 receptions for 798 yards and 10 touchdowns, breaking the Sooners’ freshman touchdown record. Unfortunately, a nagging quad injury sidelined him for most of the 2024 season.

Anderson is not alone in seeking new opportunities. Oklahoma quarterback Jackson Arnold, a former five-star recruit, also intends to enter the portal. Arnold threw for 1,421 yards, 12 touchdowns, and three interceptions in 2024.

Kentucky’s Barion Brown and Jordan Dingle to Transfer

Kentucky wide receiver Barion Brown has announced his plans to enter the transfer portal. A preseason first-team All-American, Brown had a down year in 2024 with 29 receptions for 361 yards and three touchdowns, all career lows. Over his three-year career, Brown tallied 122 catches for 1,528 yards, 11 receiving touchdowns, two rushing scores, and five kick return touchdowns.

Tight end Jordan Dingle will also be leaving Kentucky. Dingle recorded nine receptions for 71 yards and a touchdown in 2024 and ends his Wildcats career with 43 catches for 615 yards and four touchdowns.

USC’s Kyron Hudson Seeks New Opportunity

USC wide receiver Kyron Hudson is entering the portal as a graduate transfer. Hudson had a breakout 2024 season, recording career highs with 38 receptions, 462 yards, and three touchdowns. Over his four-year tenure with the Trojans, Hudson accumulated 72 catches for 807 yards and eight touchdowns.

Stanford QB Ashton Daniels Looks for a New Start

Stanford quarterback Ashton Daniels filed paperwork to enter the transfer portal. Daniels started 19 games over the past two seasons and amassed 1,700 passing yards, 10 touchdowns, and 12 interceptions in 2024. He also led the team in rushing with 669 yards and three touchdowns.

In his career at Stanford, Daniels recorded 3,986 passing yards, 21 touchdowns, 20 interceptions, and 1,117 rushing yards with nine scores on the ground.

Rice QB E.J. Warner to Leave Amid Coaching Changes

E.J. Warner, son of Hall of Fame quarterback Kurt Warner, is transferring from Rice after the program’s coaching staff was overhauled. Warner cited philosophical changes under new head coach Scott Abell as his reason for seeking a better fit for his final year of eligibility.

Warner threw for 2,710 yards, 17 touchdowns, and 13 interceptions in 2024. Known for his playmaking ability, he previously spent two seasons at Temple before transferring to Rice.

Southern Miss QB Tate Rodemaker on the Move

Tate Rodemaker, who gained prominence during Florida State’s 2023 playoff run, announced his entry into the transfer portal. At Southern Miss in 2024, Rodemaker threw for 985 yards, seven touchdowns, and seven interceptions as the team endured a disappointing 1-11 season.

Coastal Carolina QB Ethan Vasko to Explore Options

Ethan Vasko, who succeeded Grayson McCall as Coastal Carolina’s starting quarterback, is entering the portal. Vasko threw for 2,110 yards, 14 touchdowns, and eight interceptions during the 2024 season. With two years of eligibility left, he hopes to find a new program to further his development.

Washington State RB Wayshawn Parker Transfers

Washington State running back Wayshawn Parker is transferring with three years of eligibility remaining. The freshman was a standout in 2024, rushing for 735 yards on a 5.4 yards-per-carry average and scoring four touchdowns.

New Mexico QB Devon Dampier Heads to the Portal

Dual-threat quarterback Devon Dampier is leaving New Mexico with two years of eligibility left. In 2024, Dampier passed for 2,768 yards and 12 touchdowns while adding 1,166 rushing yards and 19 rushing touchdowns. His dynamic playstyle has made him a sought-after prospect in the portal.
