Euro Matchday 10 – UEFA 2024 Qualifying Predictions

The final round of European Championship qualifiers concludes on Tuesday, November 21, meaning it’s time for me to share my Euro Matchday 10 predictions. 

17 of the 24 berths have already been filled for next summer’s tournament, leaving seven spots up for grabs. With high-profile nations like Italy and Croatia still waiting to learn their fate, Euro Matchday 10 is destined to dish up high drama. 

I will reveal my Euro Matchday 10 predictions and picks in due course. First, let’s look back at Matchday 9 and assess the bigger picture. 

What Happened During Matchday 9? 

A total of 17 clashes took place during Matchday 9, with eight teams punching their ticket to Euro 2024. The Netherlands, Albania, Hungary, Serbia, Denmark, Romania, Switzerland and Slovakia all secured a spot at the main event. 

15 of the 17 matches produced at least two goals, while six games served up over 3.5 goals. Some of the eye-catching results include Italy’s 5-2 thrashing of North Macedonia, Slovakia’s 4-2 victory over Iceland and Luxembourg’s 4-1 win against Bosnia & Herzegovina. 

Still, the standout result of Matchday 9 was France’s 14-0 victory over Gibraltar. Les Bleus racked up 73% possession and 39 shots against the minnows, with Kylian Mbappe netting a hat-trick. Plus, Kingsley Coman and Olivier Giroud each bagged a brace. 

Qualified Nations and Teams Still in Contention 

As I already mentioned, 17 teams have booked their place at Euro 2024. Host nation Germany is assured of a spot in the tournament, while 16 nations have qualified. Here are the confirmed teams ahead of Euro Matchday 10.

There are also lots of teams that remain in contention for next summer’s tournament. Some of the following nations can still qualify directly, while others could advance to the playoffs via the Nations League. 

TEAMS THAT COULD QUALIFY FOR EURO 2024 

Italy and Ukraine will battle it out for the second qualification spot in Group C, while Croatia and Wales will compete to advance from Group D. The Czech Republic, Poland and Moldova all stand a chance to progress from Group E, with Slovenia and Kazakhstan battling in Group H. 

Euro Matchday 10 Qualifying Predictions 

Euro Matchday 10 continues on Monday, November 20, with seven clashes on the schedule. However, my Euro Matchday 10 qualifying predictions concern games taking place on Tuesday, November 21, giving you more time to lock in your bets. 

You will be pleased to learn that I’ve landed each of my last three soccer picks. Following successful Premier League and MLS bets, I’m confident that we can make a sizeable profit during Euro Matchday 10. 

Let’s kick things off with my prediction for Greece vs. France. I will then share my thoughts on the clash between Croatia and Armenia before providing my prediction for Wales vs. Turkey. Ready? Let’s go! 

Greece vs. France Prediction 

Odds: Greece (+425); Draw (+280); France (-167) 

France heads into Euro Matchday 10 on the back of a monstrous 14-0 victory over Gibraltar. With that in mind, I’m struggling to figure out why Les Bleus are priced at -167 to defeat Greece on Tuesday. 

Of course, Greece poses a far greater threat than Gibraltar, but France shouldn’t struggle to claim all three points in Athens. I mean, Didier Deschamps’ men have won all seven of their qualifiers so far, scoring 27 goals while conceding just once. 

Greece, on the other hand, has experienced an inconsistent qualifying campaign, recording four wins and three losses. Following a 1-0 defeat to the Netherlands, the Greeks look set to suffer another defeat against France. 

Best Bet: France (-167) 

Croatia vs. Armenia Prediction 

Odds: Croatia (-650); Draw (+600); Armenia (+1400) 

Croatia is in pole position to clinch the second qualification spot in Group D. With one game remaining, Zlatko Dalic’s men find themselves two points clear of Wales, so they will be confident of joining Turkey in the top two. 

That said, Armenia has continuously punched above its weight in Group D. After defeating Wales and Latvia, the underdogs managed to hold Turkey to a draw, meaning they will fancy their chances of upsetting the odds on Tuesday. 

In the reverse fixture back in September, Croatia scraped a 1-0 win against Armenia. The moneyline odds suggest that Croatia will cruise to victory this time around, but I suggest approaching this game with a bit of caution.

Wales vs. Turkey Prediction 

Odds: Wales (+115); Draw (+230); Turkey (+220) 

Wales must defeat Turkey and hope that Croatia loses against Armenia to qualify for Euro 2024. Trailing the Croatians by two points in Group D, the Red Dragons need everything to go their way on Tuesday. 

Thanks to a 1-1 draw with Armenia on Saturday, Wales enter Euro Matchday 10 on a five-game unbeaten streak. Rob Page’s men even managed to beat Croatia last month, proving that they can compete with the top teams in the group. 

It is also worth noting that Turkey has already qualified for the main event, meaning they could take their foot off the gas. That said, the Cresent-Stars claimed a hugely impressive 3-2 victory over Germany on Saturday.

With seven spots still up for grabs, Euro Matchday 10 qualifying is set to be wildly entertaining. Several nations will be fighting for their lives over the next two days, so we should be treated to plenty of drama.
