UFC 310 features twelve ranked fighters on the card. There are fourteen scheduled fights as long as we have no late cancellations. Chris Weidman vs. Eryk Anders was supposed to happen at UFC 309, but it was pulled late. The good news is the fight has been rescheduled for UFC 310 this weekend.

Bryan Battle is an exciting prospect who will fight Jamaican Randy Brown on the prelims.

This is a solid card to end the year, with one title on the line. Fans are excited to see Rakhmonov in action as well. Asakura will make his promotional debut in a title fight, which is rare to see in the UFC.
Let’s jump into my UFC 310 preview, starting with the main event.
Alexandre Pantoja vs. Kai Asakura Predictions
- Fight Odds: Pantoja (-260) vs. Asakura (+200)
Pantoja (28-5) is 6-0 since 2021, but four of those wins were by decision. Asakura (21-4) won both of his Rizin fights last year by TKO/KO, but will he provide competition for the champion?
Pantoja averages 4.41 SLpM, 3.97 SApM and 2.61 takedowns (TDs) per 15 minutes.Pantoja lacks power, but he has never been finished. Asakura has 13 TKO/KO wins and could potentially surprise us with his power on Saturday night. Pantoja will have the edge if he can take this fight to the mat.
Asakura will also be going through a big weight cut for this fight, which is worrisome in a five-round title fight. Sign-up to Sports Hub to get all of my UFC 310 predictions for this weekend’s card.
Shavkat Rakhmonov vs. Ian Garry Predictions
- Fight Odds: Rakhmonov (-375) vs. Garry (+285)
Rakhmonov (18-0) has a 100% finish rate in his MMA career. Garry (15-0) is 8-0 in the UFC, but five of those wins were by decision. Garry does have some power (seven TKO/KO wins), though.
One of these undefeated fighters will have to lose on Saturday. Rakhmonov averages 4.12 SLpM, 2.41 SApM and 1.49 TDs per 15 minutes. Garry averages 5.50 SLpM and 3.17 SApM. Garry’s striking may struggle a bit, though, as Rakhmonov has a 3” reach advantage and solid striking defense.
These two guys used to train together, making this fight even more intriguing.
Make sure you check out who our MMA experts are picking for this fight on their UFC 310 predictions.
Ciryl Gane vs. Alexander Volkov Predictions
- Fight Odds: Gane (-355) vs. Volkov (+265)
Gane (12-2) is coming off a win against Serghei Spivac (R2 TKO) last September, but he’s 3-2 in his last five fights, with losses against Jon Jones and Francis Ngannou. Volkov (38-10) is on a 4-0 run after losing to Tom Aspinall in March 2022. These two fought in 2021, with Gane winning by decision (five rounds).
Gane averages 5.49 SLpM and 2.19 SApM, while Volkov averages 5.13 SLpM and 3.00 SApM. Gane has incredible striking defense (63%). He won the striking battle (135-115) in the first head-to-head (H2H) fight and neither fighter landed a takedown. I expect a similar result, which could set-up Gane vs. Aspinall.
Best Bet: Ciryl Gane by TKO/KO
Bryce Mitchell vs. Kron Gracie Predictions
- Fight Odds: Mitchell (-850) vs. Gracie (+555)
Mitchell (16-2) is 1-2 in his last three fights and coming off a loss against Josh Emmett (R1 KO). Gracie (5-2) is 1-2 in the UFC. He’s coming off losses against Cub Swanson and Charles Jourdain by decision.
Gracie has struggled in the UFC. He averages 3.74 SLpM, 6.82 SApM and 0.47 TDs per 15 minutes. Mitchell averages 2.30 SLpM, 1.63 SApM and 3.45 TDs per 15 minutes. Gracie’s best shot at pulling off the upset is to let Mitchell wrestle him to the ground and then attempt to lock in a submission.
Ilia Topuria submitted Mitchell two years ago. Is Gracie a live underdog?

Nate Landwehr vs. Dooho Choi Predictions
- Fight Odds: Landwehr (-135) vs. Choi (+105)
Landwehr (18-5) is on a 4-1 run, with the lone loss against Dan Ige. He has won by stoppage against Jamall Emmers, Austin Lingo and Ludovit Klein during his current 4-1 run. Landwehr averages 6.25 SLpM, 5.75 SApM and 1.00 TDs per 15 minutes. He has power (nine TKO/KO wins).
Choi (15-4) ended a four-fight winless streak by defeating Bill Algeo (R2 TKO) in July. Choi averages 4.41 SLpM, 4.49 SApM and 0.75 TDs per 15 minutes. Both guys like to push the pace, but Choi’s defense is questionable and he has been knocked out in two of his last four fights in the UFC.
Is this as close as the oddsmakers are making it out to be?

Dominick Reyes vs. Anthony Smith Predictions
- Fight Odds: Reyes (-350) vs. Smith (+255)
Reyes (13-4) snapped a four-fight losing streak by defeating Dustin Jacoby (R1 KO) in June. Reyes was knocked out in his three previous fights before knocking out Jacoby. Smith (38-20) is 2-4 since 2022, with wins against Ryan Spann and Vitor Petrino. Smith has twenty wins by TKO/KO in his career.
Reyes averages 4.87 SLpM and 3.75 SApM, while Smith averages 3.25 SLpM and 4.60 SApM. This will be a striking battle between these two veterans. Reyes still has power in his hands, but Smith hasn’t had a TKO/KO win since defeating Jimmy Crute (R1 TKO) back in April 2021.
Smith has been knocked out eleven times, so I’m backing Reyes to get the knockout.
Best Bet: Dominick Reyes by TKO/KO
Vicente Luque vs. Themba Gorimbo Predictions
- Fight Odds: Luque (+125) vs. Gorimbo (-155)
Luque (22-10-1) is 1-3 since 2022, with a decision win against Rafael dos Anjos. Gorimbo (14-4) lost his UFC debut last year against A.J. Fletcher, but has gone 4-0 since, with three decision victories.
Luque averages 5.07 SLpM and 5.21 SApM. He’ll have the striking edge, but Gorimbo averages 4.89 TDs per 15 minutes and Luque has 62% takedown defense (TDD). Gorimbo has landed twelve takedowns in his last two fights. Luque needs to avoid being on the mat to pull off the upset on Saturday night.

Movsar Evloev vs. Aljamain Sterling Predictions
- Fight Odds: Evloev (-255) vs. Sterling (+195)
Evloev (18-0) is 8-0 in the UFC and all of his wins have been by decision. Sterling (24-4) is 10-1 dating back to 2018, with his only loss against Sean O’Malley (R2 TKO). There’s a good shot this fight will end up going the distance. Sterling has been knocked out twice, but Evloev lacks power.
Evloev has never been finished. Evloev averages 4.43 SLpM, 2.89 SApM and 4.75 TDs per 15 minutes. Sterling averages 4.61 SLpM, 2.30 SApM and 2.31 TDs per 15 minutes. Evloev has better TDD (71% vs. 45%) and takedown accuracy (46% vs. 27%). I doubt this will be a very exciting fight if you like knockouts.
Randy Brown vs. Bryan Battle Predictions
- Fight Odds: Brown (+170) vs. Battle (-230)
Brown (19-5) is 7-1 since 2021 and has strung together three consecutive wins. Battle (11-2-0-1) defeated Kevin Jousset (R2 TKO) last time out and is 6-1-0-1 since joining the UFC. He lost to Rinat Fakhretdinov by decision in his lone loss with the promotion. These are two strong welterweights looking to get ranked.
Battle averages 5.44 SLpM and 4.14 SApM. His striking defense (43%) needs work. Brown is averaging 4.38 SLpM and 3.20 SApM. This is going to be a war and I can’t wait to see what happens.
Battle is a finisher and will apply a lot of pressure on Brown. I’m backing the favorite to win.
Best Bet: Bryan Battle ML
There are five fights scheduled for the early prelims currently. The first two fights of the night feature two big favorites. Kennedy Nzechukwu (vs. Lukasz Brzeski) and Chase Hooper (vs. Clay Guida) should both win and will be popular on UFC 310 parlay bets. The other three fights on the early prelims are toss ups.
Michael Chiesa is a small favorite against Max Griffin, Joshua Van is favored against Cody Durden and Chris Weidman is slightly favored against Eryk Anders. There’s lots to bet on this Saturday.
Our experts will be releasing UFC 310 predictions for every fight, so open a Sports Hub account today if you don’t want to miss out on all of our winners. It’s going to be the last PPV event of the year.
