Welcome to the latest edition of Sports Hub’s Weekly Cricket Roundup, where we share our England vs. Zealand prediction for the fourth and final ODI.

However, there is a whole lot more on this week’s menu. In addition to our England vs. New Zealand prediction, we go over all the latest cricket news, touch on Ben Stokes’ record-breaking innings, and highlight more cricket matches to bet on this week.

If you’re a fan of cricket and you enjoy betting on cricket matches around the world, you have certainly come to the right place!

Latest Cricket News – What’s Been Happening?

It’s only right that we kick things off by talking about Ben Stokes’ remarkable innings against New Zealand on Wednesday. The iconic Englishman smashed 182 runs off 124 balls at the Oval, producing his country’s highest-ever individual ODI score.

Stokes hit 15 fours and nine sixes on his way to making history, finishing with a strike rate of 146.77. Thanks to that innings, England thrashed New Zealand by 181 runs to take a 2-1 series lead into the fourth and final ODI.

Over in Pakistan and Sri Lanka, the 2023 Asia Cup is reaching its conclusion. India has already punched its ticket to the final, while Bangladesh has been eliminated. With a couple of Super Four matches remaining, Pakistan and Sri Lanka can still join India in the final.

The five-match ODI series between South Africa and Australia is also heating up. The Aussies won the first two clashes, but the Proteas bounced back to make it 2-1 on Tuesday, claiming a memorable 111-run victory in Potchefstroom.

So, who will win the fourth ODI at Lord’s on Friday? Read on to discover our England vs. New Zealand prediction.

England vs. New Zealand Prediction – Fourth ODI

The fourth and final ODI between England and New Zealand takes place at Lord’s on Friday. The hosts carry a 2-1 lead into the concluding match, but the Kiwis will be hopeful of leveling the series.

New Zealand won the first match by eight wickets with 26 balls to spare, limiting England to 291 before reaching the target in the 45th over, with Daryl Mitchell (118*) and Devon Conway (111*) both notching unbeaten centuries in Cardiff.

However, England has dominated the last two contests. Liam Livingstone smashed a 78-ball 95* as the hosts won by 79 runs in Southampton before Ben Stokes made history at the Oval last time out.

England is priced at -250 to win Friday’s match and wrap up the series, while New Zealand is priced at +162 to spoil the party. Since England has totally dominated the previous two meetings, odds of -250 feel pretty generous.

Sure, the Kiwis are capable of beating anyone on their day, but the English have found a seemingly unstoppable rhythm. What’s our England vs. New Zealand prediction? We’re backing the hosts to win the series 3-1.
