With 100-plus NFL picks in the system already, there’s nowhere else you need to go to win today.

Here’s how the leaderboard looked yesterday.

Sports Hub Expert Tops Leaderboard Again
  • Big Tonny: Each week, Tonny Ricci puts in hundreds of hours to bring you quality picks like the ones he’ll bring you on this football Sunday. Yesterday, he hit all three of his picks, going 2-0 on college football and nailing an MMA pick. With $310 yesterday, he’s now up $1143 over the last 30 days. You can get Tonny’s picks as part of the Sports Hub Premium Package. More on how that works in another daily report.
  • Scott’s Picks: If you followed Scott’s Picks yesterday, you went 6-3 and brought home $270. The card was full of college football and two MLB picks, both of which were winners.
  • Expert picks: Gino De Luca is another Sports Hub expert who has been here before. He went 3-1 yesterday and took home $227. Ben Miller and Mario Deluca (no relation), two more Sports Hub guys, also went 3-1 collecting $192 and $182, respectively.
  • Free picks: Want the best free picks this college football season? That’s one of the many reasons why you should sign up for a Sports Hub account. Sports Hub Free Picks went 3-1 yesterday, 2-1 on three NCAA football picks. If you tailed our free picks, you would have made $197!

Horns, Upsets and Runs Are Trending

It’s football Sunday. What do you think is trending? Of course all eyes are on the NFL, but there are a number of things happening in the sports world. With yesterday’s full day of college football, we’ve got a ton of trending news. Don’t forget, MLB is in its final few weeks of the regular season and the race to the postseason is on for a number of teams.

Remember, keeping up on trends in sports can help bettors make winning decisions. Knowledge is power, right? It definitely is in the sports betting industry. At Sports Hub, we can bring you tons of knowledge that you won’t find anywhere else.

Let’s take a look at what’s trending today.

  • Longhorns: There has been plenty of talk about how this is the year for Texas football. It’s the time when head coach Steve Sarkisian turns the corner. The Longhorns are favored to win the Big 12 in their final year in the conference. They showed why last night. Texas led from start to finish and knocked off No. 3 Alabama 34-24.
  • Heisman II: Caleb Williams put up another solid notch on his Heisman Trophy resume though he didn’t even play a full game. Williams went 19-for-21 for 281 yards and three touchdowns as No. 6 USC demolished Stanford 56-10.
  • 47: It’s just a number, but to Michigan QB JJ McCarthy it meant more. McCarthy lost his former high school teammate Ryan Keeler, who passed away in February. Keeler was a defensive lineman for UNLV, which just happened to play Michigan yesterday. As CBS mentioned the story behind the 47 on McCarthy’s left hand, the Michigan star calmly hit WR Roman Wilson for a touchdown. The scoring play covered 47 yards.
  • MMA upset: Sean Strickland went the distance with middleweight champion Israel Adesanya, winning by unanimous decision to pull a huge upset in UFC.
  • Slugfest: The Baltimore Orioles were the laughingstock of baseball not too long ago. Now, they’re about to win the AL East. The O’s have won seven straight and they’ve scored in double-digits in three straight games. In their current winning streak, they have scored at least 5 runs in all 7 games. They are averaging 8.57 runs a game in their seven-game run. They’ll try to close out a sweep of the Red Sox today.
  • No deal: Tampa Bay will not sign star wide receiver Mike Evans to a contract extension. Evans will play out the final year of his deal on his current contract and likely not be back as a Buc next season.

It’s Football Sunday!

Yes, football Sunday is here and we finally can get back to the business of betting on NFL games. There are plenty to choose from starting with the eight games at 1:00 p.m. We get a couple of divisional games right off the bat, including Joe Burrow coming back from a calf injury to start against Deshaun Watson and the Cleveland Browns.

There are five more late games on this football Sunday and then it all wraps up with another divisional rivalry on Sunday Night Football. Yes, it’s football Sunday and that dominates the schedule, but there are a number of other sporting events on tap today.

Let’s see what else football Sunday has to offer.

  1. Football Sunday: As mentioned, it’s the first full Sunday of the new NFL season. With the kickoff game on Thursday and tomorrow night’s Buffalo-New York Jets clash, that leaves 14 games today. Ahhh, what a day it will be!
  1. Final day of the season: It’s basketball Sunday for the WNBA. Today is the final day of the 2023 regular season. All 12 teams will play today. Chicago finally clinched that final playoff berth, so the postseason field is set. The WNBA playoffs begin on Wednesday.
  2. What about me?: When football Sunday comes around, we almost forget that it’s still baseball season. The MLB offers up a full slate of games today as teams finish up their weekend series. The day ends with Colorado at San Francisco. The Rockies are one of three teams already eliminated from the playoffs. While there may be some betting value there somewhere, I’m thinking more sports fans will be watching football Sunday night.
  3. Men’s final: The US Open finally comes to a close today when No. 2 Novak Djokovic faces No. 3 Daniil Medvedev. Coco Gauff pulled one of the bigger upsets of this tennis season, capturing the women’s singles title yesterday with a win over No. 2 seed Aryna Sabalenka.
  4. Final round: It’s the final round of play at the Kroger Queen City Championship today. Minjee Lee enters today’s final round with a two-shot lead on Charley Hull and Peiyun Chien.
  5. World Cup hoops: Team USA failed to medal at this year’s FIBA World Cup, losing to Canada in the third-place game earlier today. Serbia (7-0) faces Germany (6-1) for the gold medal today.
  6. NASCAR Playoffs: We’ve reached that time of year when the NASCAR Cup holds its playoffs. Today, it’s the Hollywood Casino 400 as drivers compete for spots in the second round of NASCAR’s postseason. Today’s race begins at 3:00 p.m. ET at Kansas Speedway.
  7. Soccer: It’s the other football Sunday for many of the world’s top leagues. MLS has a single match that features West Division leader St. Louis SC against the LA Galaxy. Men’s college soccer has a loaded schedule and the UEFA Championship Qualifying continues. Most of the top South American leagues have a number of games. Check out the Sports Hub members area for today’s soccer picks.

Football Sunday is here and, while there are other sports playing today, the NFL is king. It’s king in the betting industry too. Football Sunday is king with our SportsHub handicappers too. There are over 100 picks in the system already for today’s NFL games. You’ll still find picks for other events on the schedule, but get ready, because football is going to rule for the next several months. Be sure to come back tomorrow to see how our cappers did on the first football Sunday of the year!
