No. 13 Duke Outlasts No. 9 Kansas State, 73-62

Ashlon Jackson delivered a career-high 30 points, hitting 12 of 19 shots, including 6 of 9 from beyond the arc, to lead Duke to a key win at the Ball Dawgs Classic. Reigan Richardson added 16 points, and Delaney Thomas contributed 10 points and eight rebounds as Duke improved to 6-1.

For Kansas State, Ayoka Lee scored 16 points, with Serena Sundell and Kennedy Taylor adding 15 and 13, respectively. The Wildcats struggled against Duke’s defensive intensity, shooting just 20% from 3-point range and committing 18 turnovers.


No. 2 UConn 71, Oregon State 52

Paige Bueckers continued her strong season with 23 points on 9-of-13 shooting as UConn cruised past Oregon State at the Baha Mar Women’s Championship. Freshman Sarah Strong contributed 13 points, eight rebounds, and six steals, and Jana El Alfy added 12 points off the bench.

The Huskies capitalized on 24 Oregon State turnovers, scoring 24 points off giveaways. AJ Marotte led the Beavers with 17 points in a tough outing.

No. 7 LSU 68, Washington 67

Kailyn Gilbert sank a clutch game-winning layup with one second left as LSU erased a 15-point deficit to edge Washington. Aneesah Morrow and Flau’Jae Johnson each tallied 19 points for LSU, while Sa’Myah Smith added a double-double with 16 points and 15 rebounds.

Washington’s Sayvia Sellers scored a career-best 24 points but couldn’t hold off the Tigers’ rally. Elle Ladine chipped in with 14 points and nine rebounds for the Huskies.


No. 8 Oklahoma 85, DePaul 62

Payton Verhulst powered Oklahoma with 18 points, nine assists, and seven rebounds as the Sooners dominated DePaul at the Ball Dawgs Classic. Raegan Beers added 17 points in just 13 minutes as Oklahoma moved to 6-0.

Meg Newman and Jorie Allen each scored 15 points for the Blue Demons, who dropped to 2-4 on the season.


No. 16 North Carolina 69, Indiana 39

Indya Nivar and Trayanna Crisp each scored 15 points to lead North Carolina to a decisive victory over Indiana in the Battle 4 Atlantis championship game. Alyssa Ustby, the tournament MVP, recorded nine points, 13 rebounds, and five assists as the Tar Heels improved to 6-1.

Indiana, led by Yardon Garzen’s 10 points, struggled offensively, shooting 15% from 3-point range and committing 16 turnovers.


No. 18 Ole Miss 92, Boston College 55

Kennedy Todd-Williams scored 17 points to lead a balanced attack for Ole Miss in their blowout win at the Baha Mar Women’s Championship. Sira Thienou added 16 points and eight rebounds, and Starr Jacobs recorded a double-double with 12 points and 11 rebounds.

For Boston College, Dontavia Waggoner posted 13 points and seven rebounds, but the Eagles couldn’t keep pace with Ole Miss’ efficient offense.


No. 20 NC State 77, Southern 47

Zoe Brooks scored 17 points as NC State pulled away from Southern in the fourth quarter, outscoring the Jaguars 32-9. Zamareya Jones contributed 13 points, five rebounds, and five assists for the Wolfpack.

Southern was led by Aleighyah Fontenot with 11 points, while Aniya Gourdine chipped in 10.


Georgia Tech 74, No. 21 Oregon 58

Ariadna Termis scored 13 points, and Zoesha Smith added 12 as Georgia Tech upset Oregon at the Hawaii North Shore Showcase. Tonie Morgan nearly notched a triple-double with 10 points, nine rebounds, and six assists for the undefeated Yellow Jackets.

Deja Kelly led Oregon with 10 points, but the Ducks struggled from 3-point range, making just 2 of 13 attempts.

No. 23 Alabama 83, Alabama State 33

Aaliyah Nye scored 15 points to lead Alabama to a dominant victory at the Emerald Coast Classic. Karly Weathers and Sarah Ashlee Barker added 12 points each, while Zaay Green chipped in 11.

Cordasia Harris led Alabama State with eight points as the Lady Hornets fell behind 26-8 after the first quarter and never recovered.
