SportsLine (SportsLine.com) is operated by Paramount Streaming and was founded in 1994. Today, it’s one of the biggest sports handicapping services, with millions of annual website visits.

There are numerous features we’ll discuss in our SportsLine review. All of the SportsLine features are locked behind a paywall, but the service has the lowest membership price in the industry.

Members will gain access to expert sports picks from 40 handicappers and three models. The SportsLine computer model simulates a game 10,000 times and provides picks (moneyline, spread and over/under).

The “Experts” page lists all of the handicappers available on SportsLine. The experts will have all of their live picks available from this page. You’ll also be able to see recent handicapper streaks.

The “Fantasy” section provides regular analysis for fantasy sports players, including DFS. There are tools, such as NFL and NBA lineup optimizers available for members. There’s an annual “Football Draft Bible”, which includes all of the rankings, sleepers, breakouts, busts and more for the NFL season.

There are a couple features available to everyone without requiring an account. There’s a “News” section where the experts will preview games, analyze injuries and provide some free predictions. There’s also a “Tools” section with a betting glossary (beginner betting guides) and betting calculators.

SportsLine Pricing

We’ll now discuss the pricing in our SportsLine review. As mentioned previously, SportsLine is affordable for just about everyone. They cater to the masses and SportsLine is a great resource for new bettors.

The standard pricing is $9.99 (monthly), $24.99 (quarterly) and $99.99 (annually). While this is still a great deal for the amount of sports picks and analysis you’ll receive, there are often promo codes making the cost even cheaper. For example, right now there’s a 50% off promotion for the quarterly and annual plans.

If you claim a promo code, such as the annual membership for just $49.99, the plan renews at this price if you want to remain a member after the first year. Taxes may apply to the price depending where you live.

Getting Started

Becoming a SportsLine member is simple. Click “Become a Member”, select the plan you want to sign-up for and then complete your payment to become a SportsLine member. It couldn’t be any easier.

Unlike a lot of sports picks services, SportsLine is an all-in-one membership for a low fee. Some services charge upwards of $50 for a single sports pick package (daily), but you can get an annual membership at SportsLine for the same price. Once you’re a member, the website is simple to navigate.

All of the sports picks are available on one page each day. If you’re a DFS player, you can also check out that section of the website, which is updated daily with new rankings for the day’s slate in multiple sports.

One of the pros of SportsLine is that their experts provide analysis for every selection. You can begin to notice what the handicappers look for when making picks, which will help you become a better bettor.

Your membership will renew automatically at the same price unless you cancel the membership.

Conclusion

SportsLine has pros and cons. The price point is extremely low for this type of service, which will allow all sports bettors to join. However, the lack of transparency (documented results) is a concern.

It’s much better when there are all-time records readily available, so that bettors can analyze the historical performance of a handicapper before they begin to tail them. It’s easy to analyze recent picks by each of the handicappers, though, so bettors need to rely on that information to examine a capper’s results.

The website is well designed and minimalist, which makes navigating to the important information, such as picks and DFS projections, simple. There aren’t a lot of free picks or information available.

To get the most out of SportsLine, you need to become a member. SportsLine often runs a promotion on your first quarter (three months) of membership. They offer codes where you can become a SportsLine member for three months for just $4.99, so there’s very little risk in trying out the service.
